I love poetry, and write whatever spirit is moving within me at the time. I write for myself, and most of the time it's stream of consciousness writing that I never go back and edit. Maybe I will one day, maybe not. Forgive the typos and what goes along with most of these being drafts as some need work. Because I've lost most of my writings over the years I'm going to start saving them here like an ongoing journal. I don't write much anymore...as life becomes more beautiful writing takes time out of the actual living and appreciation of the moment so I'm OK letting it go. My mother was also a writer, and her dying words to me were: "If you bring out that which is within you, what you bring out will save you. If you do not bring out that which is within you, what you do not bring out will destroy you."
